IT’S CHRISTMAS DAY!

I hope everyone reading this is enjoying a cozy, lazy morning surrounded by loved ones and lots of good food. These photos were taken earlier this month by a friend, but the reality of today over at our house is that we’ve got our Christmas jammies on even well past noon as the monkey bread bakes in the other room—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The Thrill of Hope Himself, Who entered a weary world over 2,000 years ago.

The beauty of this Hope is that it is certain, even when everything else is not. Jesus is real, He is active, He is present, and He loves you and me so much that He was willing to enter a world of sin and brokenness, because even the perfection of Heaven if we weren’t there with Him is not what He wanted. He wants you, and He wants me.
