Kaci- Oh my goodness this is me lol. Seriously, the closet situation is a bad one.. I have way too many clothes & get bored with them way too easily. I definitely need to take my on this same old closet, new look idea. Also- soooo funny, I went to the gym (that’s not the funny part) lol and was on the alyptical. I was able to stay on that thing for an hour because I was so caught up in the renovation show on my machine that your talking about! I literally had to keep extending my workout because I had to see the final outcome after all there hard work- it was worth it! Thanks for this beautifully written, and oh so relatable post!

Hahah I love this comment SO much!! Got me laughing thinking about that…I’m definitely going to have to try that…FixerUpper while working out to keep me at it longer! Thanks for your encouragment 🙂 love you!

Kaci! Thanks for the amazing post. This is so relatable to where I’m at in grad school right now [knowing a bunch of random facts but not really understanding how all the pieces fit together]. I love what you wrote about God caring more about the process because that is what draws us closer to him. But we care more about the end result because we’re uncomfortable in the messy middle! So true! I think, just like you switching different items around to create new outfits, I need to try switching something up (not exactly sure what) to become more accepting (comfortable with?…if thats possible) of the messy middle.

    • Kaci Piccillo says:

Thanks so much for the encouragement, Spencer! And yeah, totally…just like we were talking about. We avoid the uncomfortable but it’s usually IN walking through the uncomfortable that God has something better for us. I’ll be praying for where you’re at with grad school!

This is absolutely spot on and so beautifully written! Thank you for sharing this as it really hit home for me. The season in the middle is seeming very long and discouraging, but the truth you have written here is so encouraging. Thank you thank you again!

    • Kaci Piccillo says:

Ah I’m SO glad it was encouraging. The middle spot is so tough, but I think the harder it is, the more we appreciate it once we’ve come through it. God is doing beautiful things through it!
