Much love,

I can’t stress enough the ways this post helped me-most of all it was a reminder I’m not alone. I also loved your honesty and vulnerability at the end. I appreciate that it doesn’t all have to be tied up in a bow, the longings don’t disappear. I feel like everything comes back to patience and perspective and it is a daily battle to choose optimism not a number. I’ve been struggling this week especially with worry over the rest of this year-when will things work out already!? but balance is a myth and control is an illusion. thanks lady

Chelsea, I can’t tell you how happy that makes me to hear! Your comment is the same reminder to me – we are NEVER alone in the things we go through. I love how you put it "control is an illusion." SO true. When we can’t control things we try to trick ourselves into believing we can, but we can’t. We can only choose how we respond. Anyway, thanks for reading and for leaving such a thoughtful comment!

    Great post girly.

I didn’t walk away disappointed. This was exactly what I needed to hear. My best friend just got engaged and while I’m over the moon for her, I’m simultaneously depressed and fearful and antsy, and wishing my time would get here already. What you said under Take It to God, the Keller and Lewis quotes, really spoke to me. Thank you for this <3

Ah I’m so thankful this was able to speak into your situation. I know how tough that can be! But I believe with all my heart God is for us and is bringing about His best for us. Thank you for reading!

Thank you for your words of wisdom! I have been through the single and engaged seasons begging for the next one to hurry up. Now happily married praying for my husband to agree we need babies this instant. Lol but in all seriousness, reading through these words made me bawl my eyes out. Thank you for the vulnerability and insightful blog.
